I met Monica after a paint salesman referred her to me because I wanted to change the color of a handrail on the stairs of a 20 year old house that we had just purchased and were remodeling.

Monica did a beautiful job on the handrail and after I got to know her I realized how very talented she was in helping me to make decisions on the house. When it came to the outside of the house she suggested that I do a German smear on the bricks. I left for a trip and when I returned Monica had completed the work on the brick and the house looked beautiful. While I don’t often write reviews, I found that Monica is an exception to that rule. I was faced with a very difficult problem of a beautiful, hard finish Venetian stucco discoloring from moisture and sunlight. After conferring with every expert I could find, including the regional rep from BENJAMIN MOORE, it was agreed that the Venetian stucco finish was too beautiful to be painted over and that the hard finish was going to prevent a good adhesion from fresh paint. This would also create an ongoing maintenance issue.

Then came a recommendation by Simon Hzervos, Ganhal Lumber Coatings Specialist to have Monica, a professional faux finisher, come in and match the hard stucco Venetian color, then have the stucco sealed to preserve the color and longevity for another 5 to 7 years. As it turned out, this was a brilliant decision and saved me a lot of time, trouble and future maintenance.

I strongly recommend Monica as her eye for color and texture is quickly becoming a lost art, and her knowledge of business and budget certainly helps.

I was really struggling finalizing colors for my remodel. Loosing sleep fearing I would make the wrong decisions. Then I met Monica Gioeli. It was truly a serendipitous encounter at the perfect time! I first met Monica when I moved into my condo complex in 2019. She eased me through the process of rules and regulations. She was able to guide me through the process of replacing my flooring so they were above and beyond the HOA requirements.

At the time I met her, she was in charge of up keep for the entire complex. It was managed with great care and consistently very presentable. She also was placed in charge of the new entry and elevator flooring and project managed painting of the complex which brought it up to date and made the complex look fresh and modern.

Last year, we entirely redid our kitchen, from the floor to the base walls, to the ceiling. As we progressed, it was easy to pick appliances, cabinetry, counters and floor tiles. Yet, when it was done, we paused and agonized over what colors to paint the walls and ceiling to tie it all together. We were completely stuck.

A friend recommended we consult with Monica Gioeli, which we did to our great benefit. Monica came over on several occasions to suggest and advise on various soft tones and we hired her to create what to us is the most perfect kitchenambience. She was spot on with her amazing paint suggestions, including a faux wood celling beam, which she painted herself. We would never have thought to do that, and we absolutely love it.

It was a pleasure working with Monica and we highly recommend her.
